IMHO all of it is "just one of those things" except the part where she then moans "look where you're going" or whatever she says.

Then she goes from being someone a bit dopey to being a total blot on society - if she crossed when the traffic was green to go and then decided to walk backwards into said traffic all well and good (and stupid) but then to bemoan a cyclist who just happened to be there - what's the point of that?!

I've had it myself...

Ped steps out into road, not looking texting on phone.
Me - "Watch it there!" (I find a quick verbal warning better than a bell etc)

Scenario 1.

Ped - Whoops sorry.
Me - no probs.

On we go.

Scenario 2 (the one that happens the most)

Ped - look where you're f**king going you t*at.
Me - *&&!!!**%£!! Or something that that effect!

For me it's the injustic of being given a mouthful for somebody else's mistake. Yup - we all make them and I'm the first one to say sorry for it (unless it's my husband) if it's my fault but I'm not going to take a mouthful of abuse for somebody else's problem!:laugh:
