Feeling stupid

Last week I invested in some proper waterproofs for my commute. Today it was pouring and I tried them out. Arriving dry was a real revelation. Why didn’t I get some years ago?

Well you say that but what benefits are there from it raining? Or is that re-raining

They are good in winter but you still arrive very sweaty. Combined with overshoes, waterproof pants keep your shoes dry. Important if commuting every day and you don't want the 'office/house' stunk out.

The other revelation is waterproof winter boots.

You feel stupid,i only finished off the kitchen woodwork using the wrong colour .Thought i was being clever and bought a cheapo tin of paint.Nothing wrong with the covering power or finish.But it is not Silver Mist a white shade of grey.It has a darker silver touch too it.So this morning i use the correct paint i had to buy yesterday,luckily i only have one full door and four half door sides and two frames and a bit of skirting to do.Twice mind you because it will not cover on this coat.

you mean you lot havent got the skills to dodge the rain drops ?

Unless it really hammering it down r cold i generally just use a gilet as i just boil in the bag
