Ferries across Bristol Channel?

I am planning my Summer tour 2012. Considering cycling the Devon C2C (south-north) and then want to get into Wales as quick at poss'. I wondered if a ferry service is/will be operational across the Bristol Channel this year.

The SevernLink website hasn't been updated since 07/2011.

Thanks

The Severnlink ferry service never got off the starting blocks, the vessels intended for the route are now trading in the Black Sea. Although the company were still expressing hopes as recently as last month of providing a service, I doubt very much if any service will be in place for your summer '12 tour.

Thanks for quick reply Snorri.

I am really leaning towards the Lon Las Cymru but wondered if I could bolt the Devon C2C on to the start. I will only have 7-9 days so really wanted to avoid going right round the Bristol Channel to join them up (and really like a bit of a sea crossing as well). Never mind.
