Having got ready for work - put on uniform - before having lunch I was less than impressed when it started to throw it down. But, with the enthusiastic words of so many of you "it's only rain" ringing in my ears, I manned up and went to change. Put on my track pants and waterproof coat, shoved my work gear into the rucksack (remembering the need for dry underwear:blush:) nipped to the loo and got out the bike.
Just in time for the sun to come out!!!
I was very hot and sweaty when I got to work, but glad of the change of trousers at least as I'd managed to splash through several puddles.
Coming home it was, amazingly, still sunny so I shoved my spare clothes into the rucksack and set off in my work gear.
One minute later the heavens opened and I got drenched.
I'm trying to see the funny side.

Many times, Sandra, I have stopped under a bus shelter or even a leafy tree, to add gear ... or to take my trousers (waterproofs) off

Me too - I find I quite often get it wrong - too much on, too little ... as long as I have a pannier I can put it in or find the item in it's OK. It's when you realise you have set off without gloves and that they are not in there and so your fingers are going to drop off instead.

I find that the weather directly correlates to what I am wearing. Walked home from work in a hoody...it rained. Put coat on to take the dog out and the sun comes out blazing hotter than it has most of the year!!! Ended up carrying coat until two minutes from home when the heavens opened!!! Arrrrggghhh!!! Lol lol
