Oh, the same guy is on BR and has made an ar$e of himself in general with the other posters....

TBH, he'd be better swinging at the guy with a d-lock........ just not worth it.

Aren't most people on br arses? I posted a topic about the video where the guy got out his car a few weeks ago and I got attacked from so many angles. Don't really see the point in posting there as to many of the regular posters are idiots.
Although there are some class people there who are friendly.

Gaz you are right - just he got in a slanging match over it, which he'd be better not have replied to.

Unfortunately, there really isn't much the police can do sometimes, and it does rely upon the officer you get - the officer I had was a cyclist, but in the end it was one word against another, and the guy had had his collar felt, and there was now another 'incident' logged against the car as it had 'previous'......

I haven't seen the thread on BR, Do you have a link to it? thats a shame he got into a slagging match and that he posted there, he would get some good support if he posted here or on the CTC forum, lets not forget YACF.

Seems to me to be an example of someone blaming the police for something that had nothing to do with them. The CPS decided that nothing should be done about it. There is nothing the police can do after that. It really winds me up when people use the police as a blanket excuse for lack of prosecution. The police have nothing to do with prosecution nor the decision to prosecute someone. They simply collate evidence and act upon it, a lot of the time on the advice of the CPS as they are the ones who then have to stand up in court and deal with it.

Oh I dunno, have you seen the way people argue on here? It's much better and more civilised than BR, certainly, but no guarantee.

People argue on here? No they don't...don't be so stupid! Jeez...what a stupid and incorrect point to make

(I'd probably argue with someone who shared the same view as me, haha)

You've also got to remember that the police misinformed Martin Porter when he went to the police station regarding the admissability of helmet cam film as evidence.

I'd also recommend regarding Martin Porter's blog as he describes the procedure at the police station (and subsequent events) in detail. It might change your mind.

I'm back! Yippeee
my experiance is that the law dosent work very well. lets gang up and beat the crap out of these abusive motons,1. secure in the knowledge its only wrong if we are caught 2. the police are unlikely to get enough eviedence 3. the cps are unlikely to prosicute. 4. if all goes horibbly wrong we will prob not go to prison, seems like a good deal to me,
