First commute today

Well that's the first one done an dusted. Thankfully a nice day for it (no rain and not windy). Done the 4 mile each way with thankfully not too much sweating.

A note to anyone thinking of starting commuting to work think it is best thing i've done, althgough not sure i'll think this in the middle of winter in the howling wind and rain The new boardman hybrid comp defo a good purchase for anyone looking at a bike and not sure what to get!

Well done! The initial journey is always daunting, it's great to get it out of the way; you can now concentrate on beating that time and doing that every day for the foreseeable future!

The weather isn't that bad, just make sure you're dressed for it, be visible/be seen and get some good lights.

The weather isn't usually that bad in the winter. It rains less then you think.

Its a great feeling, I also commute by bike and also to meetings etc around London and get paid per mile which is a nice thing

Well done. Remember 4 miles each way 5 days a week adds up to a tidy 40 miles.

I've got a week off this week so no commute.
