Well, almost six months to the day since my near death experience I am returning to work.
Not to my old job, I've been an ICU nurse for 15 years. I'm going to a new post in the same hospital, a job that I've done temporarily for a year before I was Ill.
I'd been hoping the post would come up anyway, and it came at the right time as its less physically demanding than my old job, which in probably not fit for anyway.
So, sandwiches made, new pen and shoes - wish me luck.
