first puncture of the year - long walk home

I've had none since 2008.TIA.

What tyres do you use?

I would never walk more than 30-45 minutes home if I had a puncture, if I was further away I would either stuff my tyre with grass, or just ride on the rims. But I never leave the house with my phone, so I would phone someone to pick me up.

I would probably walk for a bit though, it is really relaxing walking through the countryside, it is nice and quiet

Heavy stuff....I have a Greentyre (700 x 28 but I think it's more like 700 x 25)on the back and a Thorn Resistant inner tube on the front + Armadillo Tyre. (700 x 25).

I know it's cheating because I can't get a p*nct*r* on the back...I have been using the Greentyre for a few thousand miles now...but I reckon 70% of the p*nct*r*s are on the rear when I used to get them.I only used a Greentyre for 6 months last year.

I did have a screw insert itself in the first Greentyre I used and had to stop and unscrew it as it was a bit bumpy.
