Well, I had my first couple of miles yesterday, indoors at work :-)

i run a Rifle Range in an Old Cotton Mill, and when no one is in a do a few laps of the floor. It's roughly 350 yards a lap, obviously dead flat no hills, but it safe enough whilst I build up my balance and lose a stone or so and build a little fitness for the big bad world.

enjoyed my bike, very smooth ride and very manoeuvrable.

Many years ago I used to work in a warehouse and a mate and I did indoor time trials after everybody else had gone home. Having to weave around pallets and steel racking does wonders for your bike-handling skills.

Ah good old British industry, we used to race the fork lift against the front loader tractor up the yard of a building suppliers (Ellis and Everard) when I worked there.
