Also tackled the rain this morn- found it quite refreshing! In a tech t-shirt, lycra shorts and socks so no overheating--- lovely. Cut down the speed (road bike tyres- playing it safe) and just enjoyed it.

Any people heading into the company's bike basement will have the pleasure of seeing my boxers hanging up to dry.

I too quite enjoyed it, fully waterproofed up and nicely dry until the realisation after a mile or two all the water was running down off me into my shoes - that was annoying

Do you guys all stuff newspaper into your shoes to dry them? Almost crammed an entire edition of yesterday's Sun into mine that I found in the work bin. The left shoe was the lucky one- it got the page 3 boobs.

Good overshoes. If it's tipping down, I do go for boil in the bag overtrousers. Yup I do get hot, but my shoes stay really dry because the spray can't run down my leg in the top of the overshoe.

nice and sunny down here for a change! i dont like the rain, the descents on the way home are death traps in the wet. may upgrade my brake pads

I missed this mornings rain but will almost certainly get caught on way home. I just wear overshoes and yellow tinted glasses. No point in trying to stay completely dry I think. Will shower at other end anyway. English Summers do make me smile. Gez
