Picked up my Sirrus Comp on friday and decided to venture out on it this morning. Considering I am 39, not ridden for 20+ years and 2 stone overweight, I was quite pleased. Rode 13 miles at a 12.7 mph average. Just one thing though....found that the ends of my fingers tingled quite a bit and had to keep adjusting hand positions. Is this normal?

Good job getting back on the saddle and doing 13 miles. About the fingers tingling, I've never had that so I cant really comment on it.

Finger tingling? Yes it's a common complaint the exact causes of which have never been fully explained. Probably down to the vibration and tension in the hand/arms etc but you learn to live with it and it does get easier the more you ride.
