Horses for courses really. The Apex will have double tap shifters that some like but some don't, so really your not going to get a definitive answer, just a bunch of replies with peoples own preferences.

Best to get along to your LBS and try them out if your unsure, but please don't do that then go and order online as that's just not on. Talk to your LBS and tell them about the bikes you've mentioned, you never know what they might be able to do for you.

Indeed, but I think Eastway are now exclusive to Wiggle and not that many retailers have Felt

Personally, Apex for me, the hood shape just works much better for my hand. I've had both, my two roadbikes are now SRAM equipped (as is my hybrid actually)

The Eastway looks a million times better too :whistle:

Try both hood shapes at a bike shop, I ride both shimano and SRAM and get on with both but find the SRAM a bit small but I have big hands for my size.
