On a night ride, in the dark, people (well, OK, men mostly) seem to be less self-conscious and often let rip without qualms, when cycling as well as while standing around waiting.

Does anyone know if it's bad for you not to let the gas out? I mean, where does it go if you can't?

The expression is surely "Better Out Than In".

If I go on the Exmouth Exodus this year just don't get behind me going up Burrington Coombe!
