Flying Ants - Take Off Day

Well it looks as though it was time for the flying ants to leave home today - we had two colonies of ants and flying ants out in force - side and front gardens - interesting to see so many.......

Then out on the bike, noticed loads of flying ants about 15 miles from home - looked at the tarmac, and it was covered in ants and the flying ones.....millions of them... great !!! Might have ran over on or two though !
