FNRttC to Brighton - recce ride

I'm thinking of taking us down a different route this time along roads that I know well, but I need to do a recce ride at night. Start - my place or thereabout at about 12.30. Finish - Gatwick at about 3.30 and a train home. I'm easy on which night - but it would be nice if it were a dry, so I'm up for a last minute decision. Any takers?

Cooooooool. Not the one we did last year then where we was faster up the otherside than going down?

I would offer, not a problem, as its my Karma payback for the effort that goes into these rides, but alas am off to Newcastle for a long weekend Friday and so I cant fit it in this week or next, sorry. My knees giving me jip again too, bloody cold weather! I feel old...

I might be up for the early hours on Saturday morning as well, as depending upon other things I've still got to sort out, I might then be able to carry on past Gatwick with a little recce of my own.*

I reckon it will just about have blown itself out by Saturday morning, as the rain now expected to start Friday afternoon is rushing through quicker than predicted. Maybe 1-2 mm tailing off on Saturday first thing.

Good luck tonight though (winds speeds here currently gusting to 35 mph)!!!
