Hi Guys,
6 months ago I treated myself to Focus Cayo Evo 2 and was really enjoying riding it up until a few weeks ago when it started to make an irritating ticking sound. I paid the best part of £1500 for the bike and it has only done approximately 1000 miles.
The ticking sound I believe is coming from the bottom bracket and after some research (courtesy of bpsmith) and have found that Focus BB's are not great and a few people have reported the same issue.
I have attached a video of someone with a similar issue although mine isn't nearly that bad (yet) .

I bought the bike online as I couldn't find a LBS that sold the Cayo especially at the price I paid. As the bike is only 6 months old and done releatively few miles, do you think I am within my rights to ask for the BB to be replaced from the company (wheelbase) that I bought it from? So far, they haven't replied to my email.
Thanks
Chris
