My all-time favourite cheese though is Boursault. Can't get it in the UK. Stinks like buggery - almost caused an incident at airport security in Stockholm once as I found it on sale there and bought a stock to take home. Security wanted to open my rucksack as I had two lead-crystal 'snowball' tealight holders that showed up as solid lumps on the xrays. The woman started to unzip the top of my bag and suddenly staggered back, cursing loudly - I had to quickly explain to her that I wasn't smuggling decomposing body-parts back to the UK; only cheese!
Even funnier was the stench on the plane. I put the bag in an overhead locker, and every time someone tried to stuff their bag in alongside it, it squeezed some of the fetid reek out into the cabin. I was peeing myself laughing at the looks on the other passengers' faces - I think they thought someone had violently soiled themselves....
If anyone's going to France soon* and can bring me some back, I'd be grateful :-)
