Just a little rant,i nipped into the Sue Ryder charity shop we have in Meanwood yesterday.I saw
a near full set of Carry On dvds.I looked and bought a compilation just to see if it was as funny as i remembered.It was.So today at 13-00 i went back with a few quid to buy another five.They were only a £1 each.Gone' gone' gone.They had all been bought by one bloke.£20's worth.Infamy,infamy he had it infamy.What a bargain a piece of comedy history.

It must be said many were utterly dire and unwatchable today. Up the Khyber on the other hand has true greatness , as does Cleo, and a couple more are certainly enjoyable

Or to put it another way, one or two had the odd redeeming laugh, but for the most part they were utter dross at the time, and have not aged well.

New boxed sets can usually be had for about £35 in supermarkets.
