I didn't watch Blade Runner in the end.
Decided on The Abyss instead.

Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio is much more interesting then Martine.

What a good job on the restoration work - it looked stunning. I would buy the Blu-Ray version if I could play it.

I'd still rate Blade Runner as one of the top science fiction films of all time. It may be slow paced (rather than plodding), but, unlike most recent science fiction movies, it at least it has a decent plot and poses some interesting questions about what it means to be human.

I'll grant you 'interesting questions about being human' bit, but the plots not all that really. That it's better than modern sci-fi movies says a lot about modern movies. I guess I was really looking forward to seeing it again and found myself rather bored by it.
