for my brother, commuting. £150

bro has decided to take up commuting to school and back to save money and keep healthy

he is about 5'9"
flat or drop
commuting suitable, so not a down and out racer nor a town ladies step through
about £150 max budget
we are down in kent, near ashford so he doesn't really want to go to the north of scotland to get it!
have i missed anything?

so has anyone got a second hand bike they could part with? he is looking at spec allez on ebay, anything else he should look for?

was just thinking of calling you over to this thread!
he doesn't seem too keen on a retro/older bike mainly due to his last bike which was an old raleigh and the brakes were f'ed and the spokes just kept popping and it spent more time with punctures then it did without
so can't promise anything but we will see and i will tell him you are a 'reliable well known bike dealer'
