I'm also 5'9".
But with 34" waist.
So I found them too tight for me.
They are unworn so if don't fit I suppose you can re-advertise at same price.

The waist is pretty academic with bibs (unless you're quite an extreme shape), it is the height that is important, else you risk being cut in half!

If you select the size from the drop down box (top right) you will see that medium covers 5' 7" to 5' 9"; Schutt are one of the few manufacturers to understand this, which is another reason to snap these up (I love mine).
