Latte is very milky. It's hot milk, with a shot of espresso added. As opposed to black coffee, with a dash of milk (or cream).

Cappucino is latte only frothier. I think. I've never been sure of the difference. I do know that a cappucino is named after a type of monk (the Capuchins) who wore a brown robe with a white hood...

I think what you're having is an Americano (expresso shot plus hot water) with cream.

Mocha is coffee and chocolate, and oddly, I've never ordered one. I should.

Cappucino is an espresso with a layer of milk froth wobbling on top.

Cafe Latte is just a poncey way of saying milky coffee.

Tea can be spiced up etc...

Liptons do a Moroccan tea with mint and spices that you might like. Or did you mean something stronger?

Do they put cardamom in coffee in some places?

Starbucks are okay, I tend to avoid the coffee and go for the other things they offer. I've fallen in love with tea again after visiting Eteaket on Fredrick Street Edinburgh. Nomnomnom

Barnet,
I tried Starbucks once and didn't like it much at all. I do like Costa's though. Fortunately I have a really good cafe nearby run a by an authentic Italian, and his coffee is superb and half the price of Costa's and Starbucks. Also, the landlord of my local pub is a coffee lover, he grinds his own beans behind the bar which makes the bar smell wonderful.
