I use CC on my iPod with the mobile theme and in general it works very well. Will there be any changes from a mobile perspective with the new software.?

I don't think there will be much difference.

The mobile theme will be updated but as yet the development team haven't started work on it - that'll be coming in the next few weeks.

I don't expect it will be radically different, but we'll have to wait an see ...
