Fantastic! What's the secret to the weight loss? What are you eating (or not eating)?

Eliminated from diet:

Bread and butter and all the fillings that go with it.
Biscuits.
Crisps.
Chocolate.
Beer
Wine
Spirits
Pies - only a temporary measure I can assure you

I am however eating:
Burger and chips - homemade burger and Slimming World recipe for oven chips.
Stir fries with prawns or chicken and noodles and lots of veg
Steak and Slimming World oven chips
Loads of fish based meals
Unlimited fresh fruit and veg
Unlimited eggs
Egg, bacon, mushroom, tomato and baked bean breakfasts
Unlimited pickled onions and beetroot.
A range of home made soups.

Reduced:
Portion size
Fizzy drinks - low cal or none at all.
Curries - unless they are Slimming World recipe ones then they are unlimited.

Waist size is down by four inches already. I am now older in years than my waist size is in inches. Not been like that for quite a while.

Hmm - you have biscuits as a no-no. I'd struggle with that one!!

I chew on pickled onions instead.....

Just as satisfying.

Honest.

Well done on the weight loss

When I gave up smoking 4 years ago I started putting on weight and I found what works for me is if I cut out all soft drinks completely and bread, instead of toast for breakfast I have pancakes (like really flat muffins) and I dont allow biscuits into the house instead I have either the odd Brunch Bar or those yogurt covered fruit flavoured filled bars.

I never eat Mcdonalds, Burger King or KFC and I dont miss it at allxx( but I do give in now and then and have a subway sometimes

I also try to get out on the bike whenever I can.

The thing I found is that I have had to completely change what I eat in order to keep my weight down otherwise the temptation is to go back to what I used to eat and of course if I do that I end up putting weight back on.

This usually happens in winter when I cant get out on the bike, except for this year because the weather has been so mild, but it only take 2 or 3 months to get it back down once I can get out on my bike everyday.

My weight loss is almost entirely due to diet. I've only cycled 69 miles this year though that is due to change as I've found my cycling mojo again.
