Now, I don't need to be paid to ride to work, I love it anyway (except winter maybe)

It is in a current currency. The Euro cent is "centime" in French.

No, it is a quarter of a Euro per km, or a Euro for 4km.......so about 20p per km or 33p per mile.

Thus a 10 miles each way each day commute would be worth £33 per week, or about £1580 per year.

How would they prove it, what is there to stop someone saying they cycled then coming in by car?

I'm all for it, I just did 370 miles last month, ok not all commuting but most of them.

I'm all for it, I'd get £30 a week if i cycled everyday, definitely worth it
Its worth it anyway, I save £50 a month on bus fares and its just fun. Arrived atmy wwork today splattered with mud
