Freak accident

Just read this in the Mail. An 11 year-old girl out on her first ride on a new mtb, swerved to avoid a holly leaf which, according to her mum, the girl thought might puncture her tyre, went over the handlebars and this impact lacerated her liver and caused her to bleed to death internally. What a horrid thing to have happen on what should have been a fun family ride out

Very rare, tragic.

You never know though, a fair few kids and adults have died slipping on ice recently - hit head.
