Having picked this up a couple of weeks ago along with a bag of bits I've realised it probably needs more work than I'm going to be able to do over the next few months. I've removed the crankset and pedals in the image.
What I know is that it's a 531ST frameset built around 1979 by Woodrup. It's a 22 1/2" (57cm) frame and is 28" (71cm) to the top of the saddle. That's the good bit.
However, there's a lot of surface rust but beneath all of the accumulated dirt it's sound. However, the seatpost is completely seized and the quill stem also appears to be seized. Those are the bad bits.
Would anyone be interested in it before I do actually have a go?
