Friday 21st Lunchtime curry buffet meet, Manchester.

Just throwing this out there in case any fellow cyclechatters fancy meeting for lunch in Manchester city centre tomorrow.
I'm riding down to Swadesh on Portland Street for the mid-day buffet deal (£7.90). I don't mind dining alone but thought it would also be rather fun to see if anyone else from the forum fancied it? I must warn you in advance that I am not a very exciting person so don't expect to be entertained by my sparkling conversation about the latest current affairs or popular culture, but I also don't consider myself to be a complete miserable sod.
I'll be there at 12-o-clock regardless so if you do decide to join me just post here so I know to let on rather than trying to ignore the weirdo that keeps staring at me

There's a VERY SMALL chance I might attend this, although I must note that a) I have to go pick up my son in Wrexham in the polar opposite direction in the afternoon and b) you probably wouldn't enjoy my churlish behaviour anyway

Chesham, I think. It is only about 160 miles from there.

Verney Junction was closer for a while, and once upon a time the Metropolitan Railway ran trains all the way to Manchester.

Trains still go from Marylebone to Manchester, although its a bit of a long journey.
