Morning

Too much coffee perhaps Photo Nick?
It's cool and breezy. Snow expected on the col de la Smithy hill. Too treacherous to ascend in this weather for Beans and I sadly. Will make an ascent in summer.

Feed birds, drink coffee.

Managed to get a run in before it started snowing; not sure if the chemicals in the air down here raise or lower the freezing point.

Shower, pack, hospital then drive northbound, with coffee punctuating each point.

Morning all. Currently lazing about prior to picking my new bike up. LBS had an open evening following a recent move so I left it for them to display. Currently minging outside at the moment.

Work is too much for a Friday, what happened to easing into the weekend?

Maybe a short run later then into the van back to the old place to drink with friends, staying on my parents drive despite them having lots of room 🤷‍♂️

Just done a weight routine and now replenishing on coffee and cake as it was a struggle to motivate myself as late shift sucks the very soul from you 🥱

Grim doesn’t quite describe the weather here. So it will be take Bertie for a paddle once I can get going. Then it will be a case of can I be bothered to do anything.

Thought I'd got up too early this kerning as it still looked pitch black outside, then I realised it was just a bit grim. Better now, but chances of riding this weekend look a bit low.

Taking The Panzer for its MOT at lunchtime.

I believe they're may be a resurrection but not as velo moira and more for social riding rather than out and out club stuff.

there are 2 whats app groups as far as i am aware , i am in the one of them and went out last saturday . There is another club registered on british cycling by 2 ex members so that should take off , i am also a member of the ashby club but they are a racing focused group with there sunday social is what i would call short at 40-45 miles but there "social " ride is still 17 + mph average which is ok as there is normally plenty of wheels to sit on .
I am just hoping the knee that has been playing me up for 7 months that seems to have at last healed does not flare up again so i can get back to something like my old level of fitness.
