Getting a 48-hour heart monitor fitted first, then back for more (decaf) coffee, then probs off for walk with friend, dog, and drone. One lesson to give later.

Morning Workers. Chilling out for a bit with the mutt then out on the local trails as they got a good dampening down last night. Neighbours have built a granny bungalow and it's nearly finished so the roads been dug up which is causing traffic mayhem, especially during the school run. OH is now job hunting as her company has been taken over and she sees no future for herself with the new owner. I'm hoping she'll consider going part-time. Who knows time will tell. Anyway have a nice wkend peeps.

You'll enjoy it, especially if your hairy chested. The blood pressure ones the worst when it does its stuff during the night, usually reduced to every hr rather than every half hr. Good luck on getting a good result.

Morning

Bit cooler today but not duck weather at least.

Stuff to do plus pedal plus what cycling clobber to wear. Sparkly bike is extra sparkly after chain boil n lube n wash n wax.

Coffee.

Thanks. I'm not sure what result I 'want', as there's a question over whether beta-blockers might be helpful in reducing weird messaging between my damaged brain and wibbly-wobbly heart: GP said one thing, cardiologist reluctant.

I'm in similar position with BP, personally I'd prefer the correct result and work with that than a GP,s stab in the dark. Either way good luck BT.

At least this one should pick up a good range of bounciness. The previous one the GP did was a stupidly primitive one where I was supposed to set it to record one-minute sections 'if I felt my heart doing strange things'... it would only record up to five tests over a five-day period (IIRC), and then halfway through they said to return it anyway, as (apparently) they no longer had the means to download the tests, the software having gone defunct.

Lazy my arse 😂, hounds walked from 5:30 then a gentle run with a pal, now work meh. Later is either town for live music (an event in multiple locations on all weekend) or swim and local pub

Good luck BT

Morning
Well it’s cooler here, which is no bad thing as Mrs W was wanting me to start baring my chest in the sun. So I don’t have the classic cyclists tan when we go on holiday. Need to take down a curtain rail at some point and see if I can my cycle computer to show my bikes Di2 battery.

Morning all. Another beautiful day! Could get very used to this.
Coffee. Commute (triffic is ultra terrible this week. For no apparent reason apart from there being too much of it)
Home at lunch. Mate coming over for more coffee and hopefully a Backgammon sesh this afternoon.
Tramadol. Diazepam. Shot of rum? Well, it is Friday after all...!

Thanks. I'm not sure what result I 'want', as there's a question over whether beta-blockers might be helpful in reducing weird messaging between my damaged brain and wibbly-wobbly heart: GP said one thing, cardiologist reluctant.

I'd be wary of Beta-Blockers if you cycle. I've had a few mates on them. Both keen cyclists. Both had issues with heart rate remaining too low during efforts and having no power in legs as a result. In the end both had the heart reset procedure with one having a pacemaker fitted and the other is OK without. Good luck with it BT. It's always good to get to the bottom of these things so they can build you back better, faster, stronger... 💲💲💲💲💲💲

Aha, that might be why my (keen cyclist) cardiologist is resistant. He told me cycling is still OK as long as I don't push beyond 'conversational' pace (and is why I got the leccy bike in France).

Anyway, the gizmo's been glued on, so anything I say will be recorded and might be used in evidence.
