Morning
Up and sort of showered as the bathroom in the gite where we are staying in built for people of a very small stature. Also it’s not far removed from an open plan one as the wall are some sort of wicker screens you can see through, grandson Cameron is somewhat perturbed. Mrs W is very alarmed as she can’t find a kettle, me myself I’m fine as there’s a coffee machine.
Not sure what later is, I would like to go for ride but we might be kettle buying.

No kettle buying. Went for a ride 2,760 ft of climbing in 27 miles not much flat round here it seems. Now watch the tour on French telly I can barely understand a word of the commentary but strangely it seems better than the TNT options.

Holy-Moley!!! It's flamin' hot out there. Staggered to Pharma to collect drugs and staggered back. Thought it best to keep hydrated in this weather so bought some cool beers on the way back to have later.
Too hot even to be bothered setting up new espresso machine....... [Sad face]

Got off early to beat the hordes (probably) heading up the A9 today. Made Ullapool before midday and currently enjoying a cool drink overlooking the bay at Achiltibuie whilst Mrs WM and DD2 canoe serenely amongst the islands (& jellyfish). I'll maybe get wet tomorrow.

Yep Mr O it was 🤬 Bon chance, due to idiots and various other factors 4hr trip turned into 6hrs. Young oxo was struggling so his big brother had to assist in driving. Thank God for working Aircon in the car. Even better arrived at destination and cold wine waiting for us. Now to local pub for food.

Indeedy. There was no risk on the A75, It was like pushing treacle with a fork uphill - 4 hours to get off the A75 on to the M6.

Sort of near Hexham - about 7 miles out heading south into the back of beyond on top of some rolling hills. It's stunning. I bet it's not so stunning when it's blowing a hoolie.
