Morning from a Baltic south derbyshire, cba to go out and defrost the car. Hopefully the sun will do it for me. Another chill day with the family, OH not happy as recent employment has ended. Basically the company has overstretched itself so she's mega ratty and stressed. Told her not to worry we can manage. On other news I'm stressed choosing between 2 bikes, both bikes do what I want but heart says pick the local bike shop one and build it to suit. The only issue genisis CDF frame only option is in one colour and its well girly. Hopefully something can be done about it. Genisis people if your seeing this, change your colours. Anyway Adios till later.

Up nice and early this morning as the flooring fitter arrived at 7am.
Already got some nice butcher stuff for dinner tonight and a few bones for the pooch.
No chance of riding here, -4 this morning and not getting much warmer either, rain tomorrow but that means I get a day to sort the final bits of the batheroom and have a tidy up.

Slow start. Still locked out of FB. I'm liking my DeLonghi Magnifica S even more I've tweaked the settings so that the water's hotter and the grind finer. The morning project is braising a topside of venison so I've got a ready meal after lessons this afternoon. Might extend my ride into town to include a cake stop.

Bright and sunny here but icy underfoot. Log delivery all stacked in log store. Bertie walked and a few comedy moments as he tried to run on the ice. Later is supposed to attending a funeral of one Mrs W old work colleagues.

Chilly out, as I discovered when Mrs. 666 asked me to scrape the ice off her car. Junior rolled in from her latest night shift earlier on having not had a lot to do after late evening for the second night running, so got a decent bit of kip at the surgery. One more night then she's back on normal time. Sim racing and cider may feature later on, but maybe not at the same time.

Have to admit being asked for directions when I was 170 miles away freaked me out a bit.

The smog condensed, froze, and fell over Cleveland. Not sure it quite merited the amber warning but it made the place a little brighter.

Mostly a day of old people admin and driving but took a few minutes out to smell the roses (which were frozen and had no aroma)
