Hmmm, it's a cover of a Wilbert Harrison song and not really much to do with Canned Heat, so how were we to know it was a reference to them?

I can’t answer for anyone else’s knowledge of cover versions. the question was asked; I knew a connection and piped up. It’s not much to do with canned Heat apart from being one of their two best known songs (even if they pinched it from someone else).
