I rode round the corner to collect youngest child from evening training last night and even at 9.30 it was fruzz.

I heard myself getting all middle-aged with him about watching for a slippery road and not braking in bends...

Lo and behold, when I set off in a car ar 5.30 this morning, it was the first time since last winter that I've needed a scraper for the windows. It is now officially jolly cold of a morning.

It's still a mild 12 degrees C over in Gloucestershire! Although it did dip down into single digits a few weeks back, it seems to have warmed up a bit.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
It was funny hearing people whinging at work about having to scrape the car and let the engine run to get the heater nice and warm ,compared to last winter we are only just getting a bit cooler .
I prefer cycling at this time of year as the cool mornings mean the cycle racks are a emptier and i can park the bike in a good spot under the security cameras + i can lock the bike up without having to use the wheel benders.

I would add a bit about nice sunrises but i am at work a good hour before sunrise.
