Morning.

I have been doing the 12 week hill climb training FULGAZ (14 day trial period) alongside a few other rides. Everything is smooth in the way it works, the real time 2D footage coupled with pacing yourself on a climb are all perfect. I have been enjoying the training and was almost thinking of subscribing to their premium content & then I realised the below :

After having done about 5 climbs & 3 flat rides (connected the Wattbike Atom & my Strava to the Ful Gaz account) , the ride ends but doesn't show on my profile page on Ful Gaz nor do they show up on my Strava (don’t care much about Strava but need them to show on FulGaz so I know which climb is good for training and needs repeated efforts).

Has anyone used FulGaz before? Am I doing something wrong? All the apps are running on the latest version. The download section (can download your fav route to practice) inside the app works fine.
I don’t know if I can attach videos (to show how the ride ends and if I’m doing something wrong. I just click the end ride but attaching a few pictures for reference. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

PS : The app has some real good sections like Official UK climbs, LEJOG, Nordic Tour. Subsections to train based on what you fancy (gravel, race routes, sight seeing, grave, loops, climbs or flats).
Do check it out when you have the time.

If I understand the settings correctly in Fulgaz, for rides to show up on your "Profile" you need to check the box in the account settings to make the profile "Public Passport". If you don't then your rides are only available for you to see in the "Ride History" section under settings on the actual device. Note also that the ride history is specific to the device you run it on, so if (like me for example) you have Fulgaz on a laptop and another device like Apple TV, the history only shows up what rides you do on that individual device. So in my case, rides done on the Apple TV will not show in Ride History viewed on the laptop.

Also in your user profile for Fulgaz there is a bunch of settings for "Connect". In there you can elect to automatically send completed ride data to Strava and others.

You can log into Fulgaz via a web browser as well as the app itself. Here's a snapshot from the web version showing the "Connect" tab for Strava links (disabled on mine here).

I used FulGaz for a couple of years and loved it. The last price hike was too much for me and switched to Kinomap.
As above most problems can be solved by going to the web page rather than using the app. If I had a problem I always got a reply from asking via email.

I did the FTP test yesterday and half way up the hill it goes downhill so I’m in top gear not producing the power I can sustain so lost my average & had to try and chase it near the end hurting the lungs.
I like Fulgaz but that lake test is utter garbage.

This helped. I can find my ride from yesterday evening which I posted above in the screenshots but not the earlier ones. Thank you.

I wanted to get a premium subscription for one of the apps to get some structured cycle training.

Looking at Fulgaz, Training peaks, Rouvy, Zwift, Kinomap (as suggested above, thank you) and Trainer Road.

Considering the Wahoo systm - if anyone has used it do let me know if it will help me be a better cyclist with say, a 10% - 25% improvement from my present numbers? The goal is to be a better cyclist & not anything else.

Little did I know that mywhoosh is a free app until I saw the forum. Until then I’m going to switch between the free days offered by the apps - MyWhoosh (completely free) & BKool (Cheapest premium sub) I don’t like Cycling outdoors in this weather so the quest for any app to help me stay reasonably fit until April.

@Milzy will avoid the garbage test. Thank you.
