Fred's a quality video maker on there. Really love his stuff. He's been stopped like 20 times for "not displaying a licence" by the Police over there. One cop didnt beleive that he was pedalling and demanded to check the whole recumbant over.;)

I wish the close passes I have were that "close"...didnt seem that bad at all really, perhaps those wide interstates give you too much freedom!

Yes, last last night both my foot and elbow were brushed by a car as I let two cars out from a side road as the traffic lights 20 metres ahead had just turned red. The impatient driver behind me said I was in his way and barged past!

I think he uses one of the widest camera systems for the lens. It looks like an ultra wide helmet hero type cam, around 100 degrees field of view.

Having a look at the comments on his profile and some of his vids it seems people want to antagonise the man. Theres some really objectionable comments levied at him, too.

Cant say I know of him (and really cant be bothered to read up...sorry) but my initial opinion of that is..."you reap what you sow."

If you ride a very easily identifiable bike and get out of your pram over an incident like that...then post on You -tube...you are asking for some attention...be it negative or positive

I think surely all of us can sympathise with having a rant at a driver.Pretty much all of us have lost our rag at least once like that. In his sense (and you'll have to ask him yourself, obviously) I wonder if posting this was a way to vent that frustration?

IMO that's quite a bit closer than it looks on the video given the lens angle. It's a bad one from a leftpondian viewpoint with the wider lanes they have, even in London that would be too close.

Jonny, ;)

Have to say the pass didn't seem that bad initially, but with a second viewing it was pretty stupid of the SUV guy when he had to stop at the red lights.
