Galibier Giro Stage Finish.

I am heading to watch the stage finish in France of the Giro stage that finishes on the Galibier. I was wondering if anybody knows a good town / village within diving distance of the finish or somehwere along the stage route to stay. Hotel / Motel / B&B, doesnt really matter.
I am not taking my bike, just driving from Zurich Airport.
