Just got myself a Garmin Virb as it was only £79, I have mounted it to my helmet which is fine but it does feel a bit on the heavy side and I'm a little aware it on there, would it be better to fit it to the underside of my out front Edge holder (I have seen some you tube mods that look okay) Just wanted to know what fellow Virb users are doing?

Thanks in advance

I toyed with the idea of moving my VIRB from my helmet to my handlebars but I like being able to point the camera at something just by looking. I got used to the weight quite quickly so that's not an issue for me.

I'm pleased with the results I get with it mounted on the handlebars, but obviously you can't easily get it to look anywhere else other than where it's pointed. The virb cradle is attached to the stock handlebar mount, and I use this arrangement soley for 'holiday snaps'.

I've only used my Virb on the handlebar so far.
It gives a pretty smooth video.
Using standard Garmin bar mount.
My main intention for recording is for MTB rides. So high possibility of wiping the camera off my helmet.

I've been thinking about attaching it to the underside on my out front Garmin mount, just need to find a way to secure it, might run a small nut n bolt?
