I treated myself to the Anniversary edition which has 6 albums, including early takes and outtakes, including some from Burton.

The way the song "Parson Nathaniel" develops into the final product, "The spirit of man" is enthralling and enlightening

Who? Richard Burton or Alan Carr?

Well Richard Burton was born in 1925.....so would have been learning maths in 1940.

Lets assume he had a young maths teacher of 25, then he would have been born in 1915, making him 98.

The number of 98 year old teachers teaching math in further education probably precludes Richard Burton?
