im riding sandown sportive on sun(66miles). Just looking for abit of advice on which gears I should use the majority of the ride to save the legs. im riding a 16speed trek1000 at the moment.
What gears you use depends rather on your own strength and fitness level. I can advise however that it's best to spin those pedals round (without it being ridiculously easy) rather than grinding them round. Get up off the saddle occasionally to ease your muscles and remember to drink plenty.
