That looks great! Hope they can keep it clear of dogs on extendable leads though...

Look great.
When is it going to be fully open? I will make a special trip to try it out.
I saw news report that Poland is building a cycle path nearly 500 Km long. Can not find any details now.

Dogs aren't the hazard on German cyclepaths, Germans are, especially at weekends when family and social groups will spontaneously stop and spread out blocking the whole path.

That is the only place where I have seen warning signs on cycle paths to warn about other cyclists. I should have taken a photo.

But thats mainland europe cycling Vernon. Its a family thing and not a lycra thing. So stopping for a chat is normal. But you are correct. Some have no thought of standing by the side of the path for a chat and have no idea where the kids or dog is.

Don't forget that scooters/mopeds can also use them. Folk who really want to ride at speed here tend to stick to the roads.

I'm a tad confused by this though as we already have miles and miles of paths like these that shadow the main roads. The only difference I can see is that they look to be a bit wider. The rest of the infrastructure they mention in the article is already in place and has been for years.
