Looking for recommendations on cycle computers to start recording rides and get competitive with frieds (or previous personal bests) as the weather gets better and cycling the new forest becomes more appealing:
anything sustainable gets big + points
wires are horrible cursed things
price is currently undecided but im hoping to find that goldilocks region of maximum bang for buck

For stats Id go with the gps route, Garmin Edges are good 200 for stats not including hr or cadence, 500/510 for these inclusive and the all singing/dancing 800/810 if you want maps. Bryton and Holux also do similar for cheaper.

Garmin 910xt, had it for about a month and love it. Not fixed to one bike so I can ride mtb, roadie, track without adjusting or refitting. Is extensible so I can add power metering at some time. Plus I can use it for running and swimming and even hiking if I wanted to.
