Had a great weekend,

Saturday

I brought a Giant Bowery on eBay for £50, but we had to travel to Brighton for the pick up,
omg ,
When I saw the bike, I thought, what have I've done, anyway checked the seat post, that moved, tried to take the pedals off, solid, anyway, I still took the bike, as I paid by PayPal.
We had a lovely time in Brighton, and Worthing, it's so nice to sit on the beach and watch the world go by.

Got home, check ed the bike over again, and found it was a large 56cm, ok, I can cope with that, but the wheels, the bearings are shot, , now , I am thinking it's only good for scrap.

So back on eBay,
Another one, in a medium, and looking a lot better, for £150, but the pick up was at Nottingham, .

Sunday
So we just come back, and now I am happy, it's nearly mint condition,

Not sure what to do with the Brighton bike, but I shall see what you all say.

Start by cleaning it. Needs a re-fresh, but nothing major.

Yep I am still going to keep the bike,

So far I've fitted shorter stem, and taken both wheels down to our lbs , to replace the cartridge bearings,
Also I've replaced the brake blocks,. But still unable to remove the pedals.
So it's a onging project,.

Will post some photos when it's up and running.
