cant go anywhere as i have spd pedals but no spd shoes  (just ordered today for delivery tomorrow)

just setting it up, the drops have me confused a little, do i leave it at 0 alignment? (0 line going through the stem)

if it were me i'd take the reflectors off, and probably the bag off the seat....

+1 for losing the reflectors although it does solve the mystery of where the rear one goes for me. Lbs didn't fit them as i promised faithfully i would do it myself, couldn't have done that one if i wanted too. Also there are hundreds of stickers on it that need taking off.

I am sure he'll want to ditch the stock saddle, so yes white saddle could on the cards...white tyres just get dirty so a bit pointless

I think the stock saddle is pretty nice on this bike, haven't been of a mind to change it at all.
By nice i mean comfortable at least up to 75 miles.

Thanks for the tips guys

I've actually take the wheel reflectors off before. Also the red reflector under the saddle as my saddle bag wouldn't fit.

Went for a quick spin using my flat trainers on SPD pedals lol and found it very quick. Just getting used to the 105 gears and levers.

So I take it use the big front cog for flats and small hills and the small front cog for steep hills ?

Awaiting arrival of elite bottle cage and bottle tomorrow

Next on list will be a garmin 200 but that will be next month. Will use strava and see how that is.

Oh and keeping black tape, white will just get dirty quicker and wont do my OCD any good!

Nice looking bike

I only just saw this thread, but I bought my Giant Seek from Ash Cycles too, it came extremely well packaged/protected and gears/brakes etc were all set up perfectly right out of the box.
