Giant talon 0 vs whyte 805

I'm after a hard tail to go mountain biking with my son , I like the look of both the giant and whyte . Seen both like both bikes , anyone know how good they are .
Any advise appreciated .

They are both good bikes but for me I'd go for the Giant as the various ones I've got are all fine and I don't have a Whyte.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
