I realise this is a really boarding subject now, but I would really appreciate any help or advise of any one who has had experience with either/both of these bikes as I am having a crisis on which to buy.

PS. It is the 2013 model of both bikes.

Cheers

I recently went through the same process, between a Giant TCR Composite 1 and a Cube Agree Race. I did sit on the TCR, but the geometry was too racey for me and the cube has a better spec. The cube has a more relaxed geometry, and as @vickster says, it is way better looking. I went for the cube, but due to a very good deal I went for the Cube Agree GTC SLT.

Ah boll0x - the aesthetics from those links are purely from side profile, which are airbrushed, and in any case rarely match the real-life colours, plus you don't get much real appreciation for how the bike looks from all angles.

And after 80 miles it's the ride that matters, not the photo.

I would have the Giant if it fitted me, and even if it didn't I would get it specced so it did.

Well you are not going to ride it if you don't like the look of it, and I think most Giant bikes look s**t:tongue:

I do agree that there are more attractive bikes than Giants, BUT beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Look at all those awful black bikes that people buy ;)
