I have a mate who was born in Gib and now lives in Thurso if that counts. It took him just over 40 years.

Rode straight through, Guards Know who they want to stop. If you know what i mean? Currently chilling in Valladolid.

Why don't you post your winter gear to wherever it will be needed? If you post on here a place, I'm sure there'll be someone within shouting distance who would keep it for you until you arrive.

Hi,
I,m a day away from Roscoff. I needed the winter socks gloves etc the other day, it was cold. I 'm going to be using all the gear from now on.

All done now and a really enjoyable trip with various weather along the way. Train to Wolverhampton, via thurso,inverness and crewe. Then hopped on the (local football) team coach at Stourbridge who we lost to all the way home. Another tour next year, destination unknown.
