In another thread some time ago,I mentioned how pleased I was with these gloves.That was then!Just in case any of you are tempted in any forthcoming sales,I offer the following.Firstly,these are not cheap items(£40 RRP)so one would expect a certain level of quality in terms of production,finish,wear etc.Unfortunately my experience has been very much the reverse.After just over 3 months wear(worn in rotation with 2 other pairs)the finger seams have split from the leather palms,the pull-off tabs,which are attached to the fabric rather than the leather palms are torn away,and the upper fabric is really quite shabby.They have been washed twice in Halo detergent and air dried and I don't think Ive misused them particularly.Could just be me of course,but from what others tell me it isn't.Compared to a 4 year old pair of Chibawhich show few signs of wear at all(and where thepull-off is sewn to the palm)or Prendas,they are utter junk Im afraid.So,don't be tempted,the cycling mags may say theyre good but then,they probably get them for free,you don't!
