I know a lot of the pros stay there so it must be good cycling.

Anyone from here ever been. I was thinking of going maybe end June/start of July and there does appear to be one or two (!) hire shops in town.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

It won't trouble the pros training in full compulsory kit but they've got a hard hat compulsion law so these days I'll stay north of the mountains or get a train to the country to the west!
