Glasgow weekday club runs

Hi,

I'm a beginner and live in south of Glasgow.
I'm wanting to join a club that goes out during the week as I work most weekends.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you can tell me at what level of riding you are, what kind of bike you ride, if you are comfortable riding on roads or not, I can point you to some local cycling groups.

I ride on road with road bike. Reasonable fitness. Cycle three / four times a week for last year. Always on my own.

Want to improve my fitness.

Hi Pat,

Since you are S Glasgow... I'm a member of St Christopher's Cycling Club based in EK. Friendly bunch, small club. Do Thu night and Sun morning group rides and a club TT on a Tuesday.

Most of the southside based clubs ride up round Mearns / Eaglesham / Strathaven way.

I'm a middle aged woman that rides heavy bikes made even heavier by 2 massive panniers permanently full of stuff ... at 5mph
